CARE GUIDE
Corsetry
PLEASE NOTE: Do not wash your corsets! Our corsetry has steel boning and washing can cause damage. You can wipe off light soiling with a damp cloth and gentle soap. Otherwise, you can take the corset to a dry cleaners but be sure to check that they have specific experience with steel boning.
It is recommended you wear an absorbent garment underneath the corset to prevent direct contact of excess body oils and sweat with your corset. If necessary, wipe the interior or exterior with a damp cloth. After wearing, always allow the corset to air out before storing it.
Store the corset in a cool, dark and dry place. Do not store items stacked on top of your corsets.
LACING AND UNLACING: REMEMBER! to loosen the corset lacing before unfastening the busk. This will help preserve the integrity of the busk and not cause unnecessary straining to the fittings.

Art With Latex Jewellery
As durable as Art With Latex jewellery is, you do need to take care of it to ensure it lasts as long as possible and continues to look beautiful and vibrant. Try to avoid putting make-up or perfume on it. Also, avoid allowing copper to be in contact with the latex as it can cause discolourations. Leather is often treated with chemicals that will lead to the deterioration of latex, so try to avoid wearing or storing your latex with leather goods.
After wearing your latex jewellery, you'll need to wash off the make-up and sweat that has collected on it. Soak it in HOT water for ten minutes and then wipe clean with a cloth or allow it to air dry in safe place, away from sunlight.
Shine and keep your latex supple with ARMOR ALL or Eros Bodyglide. I, personally, recommend Eros Bodyglide as it is particularly effective in keeping the latex shiny, supple and resistant to tearing. Some people prefer their pieces to have a matte finish but you will still need to apply some Eros Bodyglide occassionally to keep the piece from drying out.
Storage: Store your latex art flat and out of sun light. Although it's preferable to store latex in the dark, if you wish to have your piece on display, just make sure it's not in direct sunlight. It's also advised to avoid air conditioning blowing directly on the jewellery. We suggest using a zip-lock bag or a plastic container with a tight lid in which it will lay flat. Otherwise, you can store it flat and cover it with glad wrap.
